I did my PhD in life sciences (genomics) where data sharing is the normality. I now work for the Open Data Project at the University of Cambridge. I am personally fascinated about open science and I strongly believe that it can lead to a much needed cultural change among researchers. I would love open data and open science to become the default position everywhere, not only in certain disciplines.
